Candidates should have extensive sales engineering or solution architect experience in a SaaS environment or relevant industry experience such as analytics, data science, or data engineering. A proven track record of delivering technical wins and building strong customer relationships is essential. Outstanding presentation skills to both technical and executive audiences are required, along with an understanding of data architecture, data analytics, and cloud technology. Hands-on experience with SQL and the ability to solve customer-specific business problems using Snowflake’s solutions are also necessary.
The Senior Sales Engineer will work directly with the account sales team and channel partners to understand the needs of Siemens and strategize support for their adoption of Snowflake products. They will present Snowflake’s technology to executives and technical contributors, demonstrate the value of Snowflake technology throughout the sales cycle, and create technical champions in accounts. The role involves collaborating with other sales engineers, Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to improve products, representing Snowflake at industry events, and working with ecosystem partners to build joint architectures.
