Candidates should have extensive sales engineering or solution architect experience in a SaaS environment or relevant industry experience such as analytics, data science, or data engineering. A proven track record of delivering technical wins and fostering strong customer relationships is essential. Outstanding presentation skills are required to engage both technical and executive audiences. Candidates must also possess an understanding of data architecture, data analytics, and cloud technology, along with hands-on experience with SQL.
The Senior Sales Engineer will present Snowflake’s technology and vision to executives and technical contributors, working hands-on with prospects and customers to communicate the value of Snowflake technology throughout the sales cycle. They will create and develop technical champions in accounts to drive deals and achieve technical wins. The role involves immersing oneself in the evolving industry, maintaining a deep understanding of competitive technologies, and collaborating with sales engineers and other departments to enhance Snowflake’s products and marketing. Additionally, the Senior Sales Engineer will represent Snowflake at industry or customer events and work with partners to build joint architectures and account strategies.
