Requirements

5+ years of experience as a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test or Senior Software Quality Engineer
Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field
Extensive experience with API/UI test automation, preferably with frameworks such as PyTest, TestCafe
Excellent designing and programming skills in any object-oriented language like Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript
Experience with testing REST APIs
Experience with web-based application testing using multiple browsers in different platforms
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate successfully with both local and remote team members

Responsibilities

Analyse requirements and technical documentation to plan, develop, and implement tests. Create, execute, track, and maintain manual and automated functional and regression test suites
Develop and maintain testing frameworks and utilities as needed to support testing activities
Lead the testing efforts within a project or team, often coordinating the activities of other SDETs and Developers
Provide detailed problem analysis to the development teams and help them drive the product quality
Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and other team activities to ensure the quality of the codebase
Continuously improve testing processes, methodologies, and practices
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior SDETs
