Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or information technology, or equivalent education and work experience, along with 4-5 years of experience in testing. Professional certifications such as ISTQB-CTFL or ISTQB-CTAL are preferred, and candidates should demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, hands-on experience with automation tools like Selenium Web Driver, and familiarity with various testing phases and approaches including functional and regression testing.

Responsibilities

The Senior QC Engineer will perform a variety of tests, including smoke, regression, integration, and performance testing across different platforms and browsers, as well as API testing, to ensure software stability. They will report bugs using tools like DevOps, generate automation scripts, collaborate with QC, development, and business groups to complete testing, create detailed test cases and review them, send test results reports, build project documentation such as user manuals, conduct UAT and performance testing, mentor junior quality control engineers, identify root causes of quality problems, coordinate corrective actions, perform static testing, and assist with performance evaluations. Additionally, the role involves architecting new automated test strategies and frameworks, enhancing the test automation framework, executing planned tests, reporting and managing defects, and assisting development with replicating and debugging problems.
