Requirements

Candidates should possess 7+ years of experience as a functional QA Engineer, strong verbal and written communication skills, and a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering, or an equivalent experience. They should have a thorough understanding of Software QA methodologies, tools, and approaches, including black box and grey box testing, and experience in writing test cases covering various testing types. Furthermore, candidates are expected to have knowledge of testing Windows desktop platform applications (based on Delphi or C# or similar), JIRA, TestRails, desktop-to-web integration applications, and desktop GIS applications, along with user-level knowledge of MS Access or MS SQL Server. Applicants must have the unrestricted right to work in the United States, and the location must be in the Pacific time zone.

Responsibilities

As a Senior QA Engineer, the individual will be responsible for working in an agile, small team environment with a focus on speed and quality, creating testing-related documentation, mentoring junior SQAs, and working closely with the automation group to automate features. They will also conduct QA tests, verify outcomes within schedules, and work with software engineers, product managers, and other QA testers in an Agile team environment. The role involves developing deep expertise in the product and conducting QA tests and verifying outcomes within schedules/timelines.
