Requirements

Candidates should possess 7+ years of relevant work experience, including software development and/or software test automation, along with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent field. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required, as is an understanding of Software QA methodologies, tools, and approaches, including black box and automated testing, within a software company with short release cycles. Candidates must be located in the Pacific or Mountain Time Zones.

Responsibilities

As a Senior QA Engineer, the candidate will be responsible for working in an agile, small team environment with a focus on speed and quality, creating testing-related documentation such as test plans, test cases/scripts, and bug reports, assessing quality and associated risk, mentoring junior SQAs in QA methodologies and skills, working closely with the automation group to automate features for better regression coverage, developing deep expertise in the product, conducting QA tests and verifying outcomes within schedules/timelines, and working with software engineers, product managers, and other QA testers in an Agile team environment.
