Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, which is preferred but not required, and have at least 10 years of experience in building construction. Government experience is a plus, and experience with CPM, Integrated Master Schedules (IMSs), and large project schedules from scratch, along with proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Projects, is also required. Knowledge of Construction Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and experience producing and managing a resource/cost loaded schedule for the life cycle of a construction project from concept to completion is necessary.

Responsibilities

The Senior Project Scheduler will develop and maintain detailed construction planning schedules for new construction and renovation work, integrating government vendor schedules with general contractor schedules and providing client advisory roles. They will analyze monthly performance trends, create custom analyses for upper management, develop project management plans, and create Work Breakdown Structures. The role involves developing and maintaining schedules, conducting schedule analyses, performing time impact analyses, and creating schedule fragments for change scenarios. Additionally, the scheduler will monitor project progress, provide weekly status updates, and coordinate meetings and briefings, while proactively developing mitigation strategies for the Project Management team.
