Candidates must possess a minimum of 7 years of relevant project experience, with at least 5 years in a comparable role, and a proven track record of delivering low-voltage and technology scopes within large A/E/C projects, preferably in healthcare. A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) is required, along with strong working knowledge of communications, electronic security, AV, and building technology systems. Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills are essential, as is confidence in working with senior client stakeholders, design teams, contractors, and systems vendors. Certifications such as CCNA/CCNP or BICSI RCDD are considered a plus.
The Technology Senior Project Manager will act as the owner's representative on large hospital design and construction projects, leading scope, schedule, and budget management for technology components. Responsibilities include developing detailed work plans, coordinating decisions, and proactively managing risks, serving as a trusted advisor throughout the project lifecycle. The role involves overseeing client-led performance and design requirements for low-voltage systems, coordinating architectural and engineering partners on design documentation and systems integration, and supporting design reviews, value engineering, and quality control. Additionally, the position requires managing the procurement process for systems vendors and integrators, overseeing vendor scheduling, invoicing, change orders, and contract performance, and ensuring timely coordination of construction activities with technology delivery, testing, and closeout. Building lasting client relationships and identifying opportunities to expand MGAC's technology services are also key aspects of the role.
