Responsibilities

  • Customer Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of customers through regular conversations, data analysis, feedback mechanisms, and customer persona definition.
  • Vision & Roadmap: Articulate strategic goals for the product and define the roadmap to achieve them, communicating progress to stakeholders.
  • Backlog Management: Ideate with stakeholders, manage a backlog of new builds to meet customer needs, improve back-end integrity, and drive innovation.
  • Prioritization: Decide which engineering efforts to pursue and in what order, prioritizing features, optimizations, bugs, and maintenance.
  • Feature Definition: Collaborate with designers, engineers, and customer success to write detailed specifications for new features, identifying MVP and future iterations.
  • Team Rallying: Serve as the central point for ensuring new builds are completed on time and to specifications.
  • Launch Coordination: Work with the product team to ensure thorough testing and a successful product launch.
  • Measurement & Learning: Measure key product metrics and report results to the organization.
