Requirements

  • 7+ years of Product Management experience in advertising or related industry
  • Analytic or technical background with a proven ability to work in high-scale data environments
  • Experience with SQL
  • Experience with BI tools
  • Experience in a fast-paced agile development environment
  • Proven ability to deliver high impact product functionality to stakeholder teams
  • Understanding of relevant issues in ad quality, data and user privacy
  • Experience in advertising technology with a broad understanding from publisher through advertiser client’s needs (nice to have)
  • Experience with external partner management and delivering on contractual agreements

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of a product development roadmap for OpenX’s ad exchange data features
  • Manage products throughout its life cycle
  • Define experiments to validate the POCs of business problem solutions
  • Establish metrics to measure effectiveness and drive improvements
  • Build relationships with clients, stakeholders, and other teams
  • Build consensus and drive execution
  • Stay abreast of market trends to identify opportunities for improvement and incorporate new product features on an ongoing basis
  • Provide source data for product marketing communication by defining communication objectives
  • Provide information for management by preparing short-term and long-term product plans, reports and analyses; answering questions and requests
  • Maintain a product and market knowledge base, contributing to the creation of training materials
  • Own the creation and maintenance of the product backlog, define requirements, track KPIs, and lead every aspect of the product development lifecycle
  • Build and maintain communication loops between local engineering teams, customers, stakeholders, marketing, project management, and commercial teams across time zones
