VimeoFull Time
Expert & Leadership (9+ years)
Candidates should possess experience designing B2B/Enterprise software for complex workflows, admin interfaces, and SaaS products for mid to large organizations. A background in developer tools design, particularly DevOps, CI/CD, infrastructure management, and technical product interfaces is required. Demonstrated expertise in user research methods including usability testing, user interviews, and solution validation is necessary. Experience fostering collaboration across multiple product teams and stakeholders, proficiency in data visualization design with knowledge of dashboards, metrics interfaces, and analytics UX, and expertise in Figma including prototyping, design systems, component libraries, and collaborative design workflows are also essential.
The Senior Product Designer will collaborate with their triad team to define UX goals, roadmap, and strategy that solve real user problems for DevOps teams. They will engage directly with enterprise customers through calls and feedback sessions to understand their CI/CD infrastructure pain points and validate design solutions. The role involves partnering with AI/ML teams to design predictive insights features and machine learning-powered infrastructure optimization recommendations, conducting solution validation of designs with support from UX Research, and communicating design thinking through wireframes, prototypes, user flows, mockups, and high-fidelity visual designs. Additionally, the designer will engage with the user base and GitLab community to understand pain points in CI/CD infrastructure management and contribute to the Design System.
