Requirements

Candidates should have 7+ years of experience as a product designer, user experience designer, interaction designer, or similar role with accompanying experience in visual/graphic design. Exceptional visual design skills, ability to leverage a design system, and a focus on UX/UI simplicity are required. Strong familiarity with industry standard UX practices and methods, excellent user-centered design skills, and proficiency in Figma and modern prototyping tools are essential. Experience running user research studies, applying product metrics, and excellent communication skills are also necessary. The role requires the ability to drive cross-team alignment, be autonomous, and possess qualities of a strong team leader, including mentoring other designers.

Responsibilities

The Principal Product Designer will lead design for Teams and Collaboration, setting the design vision for team adoption, expansion, member roles, content access, invitation flows, and permissions. They will collaborate with Product and Engineering partners to craft organizational models, design simple and cohesive user experiences across web and mobile web, and launch premium product features. Responsibilities include designing from concept to release by crafting user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes. The designer will engage with users through Customer Insights and Data teams to translate insights into design decisions and new product concepts. They will manage timelines and workload of concurrent projects for two teams, prioritizing and self-managing effectively.
