Requirements

Candidates must be experienced individual contributor product designers with a portfolio demonstrating mastery of end-to-end design craft and the ability to thrive in ambiguity with minimal direction. Experience autonomously owning design for a team or feature area is required. Preference is given to those with experience in complex digital environments, payroll, fintech, HR tech, B2B, or SaaS. A portfolio showcasing outstanding results for business and users, with a focus on quality and delightful moments in complex platforms, is essential. Experience in simplicity, typography, interaction design, and UI design, along with case studies detailing the full end-to-end design process, is necessary. Effective cross-functional collaboration, consensus building, and conflict resolution skills are required, as is persuasive communication with fluent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

The Senior Product Designer will own design for a development team or feature area within the Pay Ecosystem, focusing on creating user experiences that empower customers to pay anyone, anywhere, safely and compliantly. This involves conducting primary research, developing robust strategies, creating innovative concepts, and executing brilliant solutions for complex challenges. The designer will collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams of designers, developers, and PMs, contributing to the maturation of Remote's end-to-end design practice. Responsibilities include taking ownership of the entire design process from initial research and ideation through conceptualization, execution, testing, and validation, ensuring the best-in-category experience.
