Requirements

Candidates should have 5+ years of product design experience, with a bonus for prior experience with subscription or membership model products. Strong communication skills and a track record of influencing product direction and aligning stakeholders on complex products at scale are essential. Mastery over visual design, interaction design, and prototyping is required, along with the ability to balance quality and speed in fast-paced, cross-functional environments. Fluency in Figma and prototyping tools is necessary, and a collaborative, low-ego team player with a growth mindset is preferred. Experience with subscription and loyalty products, as well as being a user of Coinbase products, are considered nice to haves.

Responsibilities

The Senior Product Designer will focus on growth for Coinbase One, helping customers discover, try, and sign up for the offering by ensuring seamless and delightful first impressions. They will partner with product managers, engineering, data science, and marketing to identify and design high-impact experiences with a focus on acquisition and activation. Responsibilities include owning the end-to-end user journey and design execution from ideation to production, raising the quality bar with attention to detail, and considering edge cases and scalability. The role involves working cross-functionally to define and execute the product roadmap, designing simple and intuitive web and mobile experiences, and participating in design critiques to provide and receive feedback.
