Demonstrated experience partnering cross-functionally with engineering, product, and business teams
Comfortable accepting and implementing feedback, and advocating for the best possible user experience
Ability to articulate design decisions and rationale to gain buy-in from stakeholders
Experience applying research, usability tests, and performance metrics to inform design decisions
Ability to contribute to the evolution of a design system, including patterns and components

Responsibilities

End-to-end ownership of the design process
Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to understand problems, define goals, and research requirements
Map out user journeys and prototype new features and functionality
Continuously advocate for user needs and contribute to the evolution of the design system
Conduct user research and testing from concept to usability
Explore new ways to educate users on Vise’s investment philosophy and decisions, drive PLG initiatives, improve core user flows, and iterate on Vise’s visual style
Contribute to setting overall company direction, sales strategy, and hiring goals
