Candidates should possess strong visual and interaction design skills with a focus on mobile UX/UI and motion, along with proven experience designing for iOS, ideally with familiarity in UIKit and SwiftUI. Proficiency in Figma and the ability to contribute to design libraries are essential, as is the capacity to clearly communicate design decisions and collaborate effectively with engineers and product stakeholders. A keen interest in learning fitness content production fundamentals and applying this knowledge to product design, alongside comfort in building prototypes that simulate real app behavior, is required. A bias for clarity, simplicity, and beauty in design output is also necessary. Nice-to-have qualifications include experience with content-driven or streaming interfaces, a background or personal interest in fitness, sports, or wellness, and experience with video-based UI and interaction design or working with LLMs for personalized user experiences.
The Senior Product Designer will be responsible for designing visually rich mobile experiences, with an emphasis on iOS-first design quality, and translating complex fitness routines into delightful UI and interaction models. They will build high-fidelity prototypes to showcase motion and transitions, collaborating closely with iOS and Android engineers to ensure fidelity from mockup to implementation. This role involves shaping the visual identity and interaction paradigms for workout-related features to make fitness approachable and motivating, and continuously building an understanding of fitness concepts and content workflows to design with authenticity. The designer will also collaborate across design, content, and product teams to refine the presentation of workout videos, instructions, and plans for diverse user groups.
