Responsibilities

Set-up, calibrate, and operate machines and equipment, following production schedules and quality standards
Monitor production processes and troubleshoot production problems
Control production activities, material flow, and inventory to achieve cost and quality targets, production schedules, and compliance with standards for assigned production line(s)
Monitor team performance and output, re-assign production tasks and inputs to meet production specifications, schedules, volume, cost, wastage targets, and quality standards
Coach and mentor less experienced engineers to help them use production equipment or resolve problems
Deal with complex queries escalated by production engineers and technicians to ensure the team meets established production specifications and schedules
