Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Set-up, calibrate, and operate machines and equipment, following production schedules and quality standards
  • Monitor production processes and troubleshoot production problems
  • Control production activities, material flow, and inventory to achieve cost and quality targets, production schedules, and compliance with standards for assigned production line(s)
  • Monitor team performance and output, re-assign production tasks and inputs to meet production specifications, schedules, volume, cost, wastage targets, and quality standards
  • Coach and mentor less experienced engineers to help them use production equipment or resolve problems
  • Deal with complex queries escalated by production engineers and technicians to ensure the team meets established production specifications and schedules
