Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, or a comparable field, and a minimum of 2-5 years of experience as a Solution Architect or similar role, with proven experience in solution design and implementation. Strong technical proficiency in technologies such as cloud computing, microservices architecture, API design, database systems, and security principles is required, with a strong database experience and preference for MySQL expertise. Working knowledge of code and script in Python, Shell, or Golang is a plus, as is Docker/Kubernetes knowledge, and experience in one or more public cloud environments like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

Responsibilities

The Senior Presales / Solution Architect will educate prospects and customers on the capabilities of TiDB and share best practices for integration, understand customer requirements and communicate the business value of solving technology problems using TiDB, guide the design and deployment of hybrid transactional and analytical databases, work on RFPs and customer technical requirements with the Sales team, prepare demos and proofs-of-concept, create technical content, and assist during a customer’s implementation, supporting backend developers, database administrators, product managers, and project teams.
