Candidates should have experience guiding customers through digital transformation journeys, leading solutioning and scoping discussions, and driving the successful delivery of strategic, multi-workflow projects. They must possess thought leadership, best practices, and expert guidance capabilities, and be able to engage with senior stakeholders to align business objectives with technology solutions. Experience in establishing strong governance frameworks, reducing technical debt, and enabling scalable solutions is essential. The role requires the ability to build strong relationships with customer technical and business leaders, collaborate with GTM, Delivery, and other joint teams, and continuously build networks internally and externally. Candidates must be able to guide customers, partners, and internal teams on technical architecture designed for long-term success and work with customers across executive, platform owner, enterprise architect, and development teams. They should possess a variety of knowledge across multiple workflows and be able to translate goals and outcomes into a customer roadmap, as well as translate business information and technical requirements into an architectural blueprint. Experience in managing technical governance and a delivery operating model is necessary. The ability to support sales efforts by scoping and estimating engagements and change orders is also required. Maintaining skills and certifications on specific workflows is a plus.
Architects will act as experts across assigned contracts, providing architectural guidance, technical governance, and best practices, typically on larger accounts. They will build relationships with customer leaders to align ServiceNow solutions with business strategy, and collaborate with various teams to bridge the gap between sales, solutioning, and execution. The role involves helping customers establish a technical foundation in the ServiceNow Platform, design solutions to improve outcomes, and ensure customers use leading practices for instance strategy, technical governance, core data, integrations, and platform health. Architects will guide engagement teams to provide successful customer solutions and work with customers to understand the role of ServiceNow in their digital transformation vision. They will translate business goals into a customer roadmap and architectural blueprints, engage with Enterprise Architects to position ServiceNow as a digital transformation platform standard, and manage technical governance and operating models. Ensuring instance health by reducing technical debt and aligning to leading practices is a key responsibility. Architects will also contribute to scoping and estimating engagements and change orders, and actively share leading practices and expertise related to the ServiceNow platform.
