Requirements

  • Solid understanding of HR practices, Performance and Talent Management, Employee Relations, Employee Surveys, Workforce Analytics, Organizational Design, etc
  • Experience in HR roles within matrixed organizations, ideally with exposure to compliance and risk management
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with sound judgment and a solutions-oriented mindset
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Experience with Workday or similar HRIS platforms is an asset
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or certification in HR, employment law, or occupational health & safety preferred

Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of HR initiatives and programs in Canada and the US
  • Analyze workforce data to generate insights that support compliance and strategic decision-making
  • Contribute to position management and headcount tracking
  • Provide guidance on the use of HR systems (e.g., Workday)
  • Collaborate with Centres of Excellence, Employees and leaders on general HR questions and concerns
  • Manage timely delivery of day-to-day People & Capability activities by working with key stakeholders across the business
  • Support the communications and roll-out of People & Capability initiatives aimed at enhancing the employee experience
  • Drill down on data analysis to generate actionable insights for People Business Partners and business leaders within specific functions
  • Lend additional support to People Business Partners and the business to ensure HR systems and platforms are utilized effectively with a focus on end user experience
  • Partner with the Head of HR for the Americas on deck preparation and special projects
