Requirements

8+ years of experience in PCB design
Strong knowledge of PCB design tools (Allegro, Altium or Xpedition)
Proficiency in high-speed design techniques (DDR, PCIe, Ethernet, RF, etc.)
Experience with impedance control
Extensive experience in high-speed, multi-layer PCB layout design for electronic products, ensuring manufacturability, reliability, and compliance with industry standards

Responsibilities

Design complex, multi-layer high-speed digital, RF, and mixed-signal PCBs
Work closely with hardware engineers, signal integrity engineers, and mechanical designers to optimize layouts
Utilize PCB layout tools such as Cadence Allegro, Altium Designer, Siemens Xpedition/PADS
Ensure PCB designs comply with DFM (Design for Manufacturability), DFA (Design for Assembly), and DFT (Design for Testability) requirements
Generate and validate Gerber files, BOMs, and fabrication drawings for manufacturing
Understand signal integrity, thermal analysis, and EMI/EMC compliance reviews
Collaborate with PCB manufacturers to address fabrication constraints and resolve design issues
Maintain and manage PCB design libraries, footprints, and component placements
