Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in PCB design
  • Strong knowledge of PCB design tools (Allegro, Altium or Xpedition)
  • Proficiency in high-speed design techniques (DDR, PCIe, Ethernet, RF, etc.)
  • Experience with impedance control
  • Extensive experience in high-speed, multi-layer PCB layout design for electronic products, ensuring manufacturability, reliability, and compliance with industry standards

Responsibilities

  • Design complex, multi-layer high-speed digital, RF, and mixed-signal PCBs
  • Work closely with hardware engineers, signal integrity engineers, and mechanical designers to optimize layouts
  • Utilize PCB layout tools such as Cadence Allegro, Altium Designer, Siemens Xpedition/PADS
  • Ensure PCB designs comply with DFM (Design for Manufacturability), DFA (Design for Assembly), and DFT (Design for Testability) requirements
  • Generate and validate Gerber files, BOMs, and fabrication drawings for manufacturing
  • Understand signal integrity, thermal analysis, and EMI/EMC compliance reviews
  • Collaborate with PCB manufacturers to address fabrication constraints and resolve design issues
  • Maintain and manage PCB design libraries, footprints, and component placements
