Requirements

Outstanding professional and academic record of achievement
Prior experience in payments
Comfort with SQL
Intellectual curiosity: want to understand customers’ problems inside-out and how the product can help solve them
Adeptness at bringing structure to ambiguous, fast-moving problem spaces
A love of working with data and excitement about demonstrating impact - significant analytical experience
Brilliant communication skills; at ease across verbal and written communications and comfortable presenting to clients/external stakeholders
Comfort working cross-functionally with stakeholders at varying levels of seniority
Preferred Requirements
Proficiency in BI tools (e.g., Looker, BigQuery), and/or statistical software
Experience as an optimization consultant in another payments company

Responsibilities

Gather insights - through data analysis and industry knowledge - to identify opportunities to improve customers’ payment performance
Design and deliver a standard methodology to improve payment performance, updating it as learnings about customers and their payments evolve
Lead discussions with customers on their existing payment performance, opportunities to improve, and requirements to implement
Train internal stakeholders (e.g., Sales teams) on how to lead discussions with customers and prospects, providing them with tooling as required
Liaise with Product teams to ensure they understand customer feedback and incorporate learnings into their roadmaps
Support engagements with external stakeholders (e.g., card issuers)
