Senior Network Security Engineer at AlphaSense

The Senior Network Security Engineer will architect, deploy, and secure the global corporate network across North America and EMEA/APAC, serving as the technical authority for secure networking architecture. Responsibilities include driving automation, ensuring infrastructure resilience and scalability, and maintaining vendor-agnostic integrations. The role involves architecting and implementing secure LAN/WAN/SD-WAN and Wi-Fi, managing Cisco Meraki devices, and deploying network security controls such as segmentation, NAC/802.1X, VPN, SWG/SASE, ZTNA, IDS/IPS, and DLP. Additionally, the engineer will implement and manage Wi-Fi EAP, certificate-based authentication, zero-trust access controls, plan and optimize enterprise Wi-Fi, build secure cloud and hybrid networking environments, automate deployments with Python and Ansible, implement observability and alerting, and support compliance requirements through secure configurations and documentation. This position requires global travel for on-site deployments and architecture reviews.
