This is a site-based Network Engineering role requiring work in one of the DXC regional delivery centres in Glasgow or Newcastle.
Mandatory skills include Cisco LAN/WAN skills equivalent to CCNP level, Aruba LAN skills equivalent to Aruba ACP level, experience with Checkpoint and Palo Alto Firewalls, complex routing protocols like OSPF, BGP, and iBGP, and knowledge of forwarding and reverse proxy technologies including Broadcom/Symantec and Netskope.
The successful candidate will have 5 to 10 years proven work experience in a challenging, multi-vendor Data centre environment working as part of a team delivering project engineering functions.
SC clearance is required for this position.
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience is required, with a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, information systems, or related field preferred.
