Manufacturing Engineer - Optical

Position Overview

NVIDIA is seeking an experienced, bright, focused, analytical, and motivated Manufacturing Engineer to join our Optical manufacturing engineering team in Thailand at the Chonburi site. This role will drive continuous improvement in our production lines globally. We are at the forefront of AI, defining the next era of computing where our GPUs power computers, robots, and self-driving cars. What You'll Be Doing

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop manufacturing strategies for optical products.
  • Overseeing the production of optical components and ensuring adherence to industry standards and specifications.
  • Conducting research and feasibility studies to optimize manufacturing processes and improve product quality.
  • Developing and maintaining documentation, including manufacturing instructions and standard operating procedures.
  • Working alongside the Operations, R&D, and NPI teams on projects and mass production.
  • Implementing quality control measures to ensure consistent and reliable output.
  • Analyzing data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction.
  • Evaluating and selecting appropriate equipment and tools for manufacturing optical products.
  • Assisting in the testing and validation of new optical technologies and products.
  • Traveling as needed for the business.

Requirements

  • B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in an engineering and/or manufacturing environment in the Chip industry.
  • Seasoned manufacturing engineer.
  • Knowledge and experience in the Semiconductor industry (experience with a Fabless company is a benefit).
  • Excellent skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to perform well in an intensive and dynamic environment.
  • Fluent English.
  • Outstanding communication skills.
  • Ability to physically attend the Chonburi site on a daily basis.
