Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely completion and delivery of all Indirect tax compliance obligations
  • Provide leadership in issue resolution, systems implementation, and tax compliance processes
  • Lead tax and eco fees compliance and system support, ensuring adherence to compliance and controls for existing and new programs
  • Manage system implementations and updates, ensuring accurate tax and fee capture and documentation
  • Oversee daily tax and eco fee compliance, reporting, and systems control
  • Develop direct reports and provide regular performance evaluations
  • Manage research and analysis of tax and eco fees related issues, highlight and remediate issues, propose resolution plans to senior leadership
  • Oversee procedural documentation for all systems and processes necessary for tax and eco fees collection, remittance, and recovery
  • Oversee system implementations and new business initiatives impacting the compliance process, working with business functions
  • Review contracts, manage external government audits, provide analysis and documentation, respond to queries
  • Promote tax and eco fees awareness and knowledge, propose changes to policies and systems to improve internal controls and efficiencies
  • Review and manage tax and eco fees research based on current and proposed legislation, assess and communicate impact of tax changes
  • Drive associate engagement, value and develop team members, identify and set goals for direct reports
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure tax and eco fees implications are identified and reported appropriately, ensuring overall compliance
