Requirements

  • Visionary leadership in SEO, Answer Engine Optimization (AEO/GEO), and Large Language Models (LLM), understanding future search beyond keywords, intertwined with user experience and Generative AI
  • Experience developing frameworks and strategies for SEO/AEO/LLM aligned with business and product goals
  • Ability to create and drive roadmaps, manage prioritization, execution, and optimization of performance-oriented initiatives
  • Expertise in data-driven execution, including in-depth technical and content audits, audience analysis across platforms, roadmap building, forecasting, sizing, measuring impact via testing and experimentation, partnering with analytics and finance teams
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with agencies, vendors, and internal teams (Paid Media, Content, Operations, Product, Engineering) to implement strategies, establish EEAT practices (authorship, freshness workflows, new content, structured data)
  • Experience partnering with product teams on discoverability initiatives (programmatic pages, content hubs, off-site mentions, citations, widgets, quizzes) for traditional and emerging search platforms
  • Proficiency in assessing and reviewing ecosystems and tools to maintain a cutting-edge, efficient tech stack
  • Ability to research and apply innovative methodologies in the AI search landscape, setting and molding best practices for internal teams and clients
  • Expertise to serve as primary point of contact for SEO/AEO/LLM-related questions, providing guidance and reporting

Responsibilities

  • Develop the framework and strategy for SEO, Answer Engine Optimization (AEO/GEO), and Large Language Models (LLM), aligning with business and product goals
  • Create and drive the SEO/AEO/LLM roadmap, managing prioritization, execution, and optimization of performance-oriented initiatives; drive original and authoritative content at scale
  • Conduct in-depth technical and content audits, analyze audience discovery and consumption across platforms; build roadmaps, partner with analytics and finance for forecasting, sizing, measuring impact through testing and experimentation
  • Partner with agencies, vendors, and internal teams (Paid Media, Content, Operations, Product, Engineering) to translate strategy into action, establishing EEAT practices (authorship, freshness workflows, net new content, technical enhancements like structured data)
  • Partner with product teams to recommend strategic initiatives improving discoverability, including requirements for new programmatic pages, content hubs, off-site mentions, citations, widgets, quizzes
  • Continuously assess and review ecosystem and tools to ensure cutting-edge, efficient tech stack
  • Research and apply new methodologies in AI search landscape; set and mold best practices for internal teams and clients
  • Serve as primary point of contact for all SEO, AEO/GEO, and LLM-related client questions, providing expert guidance and reporting
  • Champion "Search Everywhere" strategy to increase organic traffic and drive high-value, high-converting users, integrating into product and business development
