Senior Manager, Product Analytics

Position Overview

Maven is seeking a Senior Manager, Product Analytics to lead its Product Analytics function. This role is responsible for setting the strategic vision for how data informs product development, empowering the team to generate insights that shape member and provider experiences, and overseeing high-impact analytics initiatives. The position will serve as a key thought partner to Product, Engineering, Operations, and Clinical teams to drive the development and adoption of experimentation, scalable analytics infrastructure, and data-informed decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing Product Analytics team, fostering growth and collaboration.
• Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Clinical, and Operations teams to design and execute an analytics roadmap to drive strategic decision-making.
• Influence product and business decisions by proactively surfacing data-driven recommendations to improve outcomes and better serve our members.
• Define and drive the analytics vision for experimentation, product performance tracking, and user behavior analysis.
• Establish and promote development best practices, coding standards, and design principles across the team.
• Drive operational efficiency by overseeing the development of scalable data pipelines and analytics infrastructure, and identifying areas for improvement.
• Explore and evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and trends that can drive innovation and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our data analytics processes.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant product analytics or data science experience.
• A minimum of 3 years of management experience leading technical teams.
• Fluency in SQL and a strong background in data visualization.
• Hands-on experience with Python or R is preferred.
• A proven ability to manage both long-term strategic initiatives and ad hoc, high-priority requests.
• Excellent leadership, collaboration, and communication skills, with a track record of working effectively with cross-functional teams and developing junior team members.

Salary

The base salary range for this role is $200,000.
