Position Overview

Ro is a direct-to-patient healthcare company dedicated to helping patients achieve their health goals by delivering the easiest, most effective care possible. As the only company offering nationwide telehealth, labs, and pharmacy services, Ro's vertically integrated platform provides a convenient, end-to-end healthcare experience from diagnosis to medication delivery and ongoing care. Since 2017, Ro has impacted millions of patients across the United States, reaching 98% of primary care deserts. Ro has been recognized as a Fortune Best Workplace in New York and Health Care for four consecutive years (2021-2024) and a Best Workplace for Parents for three consecutive years (2021-2023). In 2022, Ro was named a CNBC Disruptor 50.

As the Senior Manager, Practice Operations on Ro’s Care Delivery team, you will be instrumental in driving the processes, metrics, and daily operations that empower our frontline teams to deliver high-quality care at scale. You will lead onboarding efforts for clinical and non-clinical frontline team members, ensuring a streamlined and supportive experience while continuously improving processes and collaborating with cross-functional teams. This role also supports additional functions within care delivery, including provider support coordination, performance management processes, and frontline team member scheduling.

You are a process-minded operator who excels at creating efficiency, enabling frontline teams to perform at their best, and bringing a flexible, can-do attitude to evolving priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Own Onboarding & Day 1 Readiness:
    • Manage the end-to-end onboarding operations experience for frontline roles, including calendar coordination, systems provisioning (in partnership with IT), communications, and delivery of initial team dashboards.
    • Identify and implement process improvements to reduce friction, increase consistency, and enhance the onboarding experience and speed-to-productivity.
    • Monitor onboarding performance metrics to ensure frontline team member adoption and quality.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Partner with cross-functional teams (Care Delivery, IT, Data, People, and Clinical Ops) to lead operational projects, optimize tooling and processes, and deliver insights that drive change.
  • Core Operational Process Ownership:
    • Own and optimize core operational processes that support Ro’s frontline teams, including performance management and scheduling.
  • Provider Support Enablement:
    • Own response tracking systems, documentation, and cross-functional coordination to ensure issue resolution for providers and identify recurring themes.

What You'll Bring to the Team

  • 3–5 years of experience in healthcare operations or clinical strategy; experience in high-growth or tech-enabled care delivery is preferred.
  • Strong project management and coordination skills with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams and stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in improving or building processes and comfort navigating ambiguity.
  • Confidence in using data to guide work, with analytical skills to uncover insights and drive improvements without needing to be a dedicated data specialist.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an aptitude for simplifying complexity.
  • Familiarity with data dashboard tools (e.g., Looker), Google Sheets, and project management software (e.g., Asana).
  • Experience with other tools such as Airtable is helpful but not required.
  • A proactive, resourceful approach with a demonstrated ability to identify gaps and take ownership to close them.
  • A "Full ownership" and "Deliver Results" mindset.
