Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in partnerships or relationship management within payments, fintech, or financial services
  • Deep understanding of the Pay-In ecosystem — including PSPs, banks, aggregators, local and alternative payment methods, card networks, and domestic payment schemes
  • Proven experience managing and growing complex, high-value commercial relationships
  • Excellent relationship management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders internally and externally
  • Strong commercial acumen and experience with negotiation and contract management

Responsibilities

  • Manage and deepen relationships with key Pay-In partners, including PSPs, banks, aggregators, and local or alternative payment method providers
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to execute against the global Pay-In strategy, ensuring partner initiatives align with Remitly's growth and performance goals
  • Serve as the primary commercial contact for partners — building trust, resolving issues, and identifying opportunities to improve collaboration and results
  • Support commercial negotiations, renewals, and contract management to secure optimal commercial and operational outcomes
  • Monitor partner performance, including authorization rates, costs, and service quality, and work with partners to deliver continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with Finance, Legal, and Compliance to ensure deals and relationships are aligned with Remitly's policies and regulatory requirements
  • Partner with Product and Engineering teams to support new integrations, improve existing connections, and launch new payment methods
  • Work closely with Operations and Risk teams to optimize partner performance and address issues that impact customer experience
  • Provide reporting to leadership on partner performance, risks, and opportunities
  • Stay informed on developments in the global payments ecosystem — including PSP trends, regulatory changes, and innovations in local and alternative payment methods
  • Represent Remitly at partner meetings and industry events to strengthen relationships and maintain market visibility
