Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Networking, or a related field, or equivalent experience. A minimum of 15 years of experience in network operations is required, with at least 10 years in a management role. Strong technical knowledge of broadband, Ethernet, and transport technologies, along with proven ability to lead large teams and manage complex projects in a fast-paced environment, is essential. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are also required. Bonus points for project management experience in telecommunications, familiarity with reporting tools like Power BI or Tableau, and experience with vendor platforms such as Nokia, Cisco, or Juniper.

Responsibilities

The Senior Manager, Network Operations will oversee multiple teams, including Network Operations Managers and engineers, ensuring timely and accurate service delivery for broadband, Ethernet, and transport networks. Responsibilities include managing the activation, augmentation, and maintenance of these networks, overseeing the provisioning of transport circuits, and configuring alarming for network devices. The role involves developing and implementing operational strategies to improve network performance, establishing KPIs and scorecards for monitoring, and partnering with other teams to support new technology deployments. Additionally, the manager will explain complex technical information, conduct leadership meetings and performance reviews, drive process automation, prepare operational reports for senior leadership, and ensure compliance with policies and standards. Occasional travel may be required.
