Requirements

  • Leadership experience managing a team of Managers, Team Leads, and Associates in a cGMP multi-cleanroom suite environment
  • Expertise in CAR T clinical and commercial operations, specifically Value Stream Cryo Operations (Frozen process Material Retrieval, Movement, Storage in Cryotanks, and CRF usage)
  • Hands-on knowledge of Cell Therapy production steps and Unit Operations
  • Ability to work onsite Afternoon Shift (Monday - Friday, 3 p.m. - 11 p.m.) supporting multiple shifts, including future 12hr/7d operations
  • Strong understanding of Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WIs), and ALCOA+ principles for documentation
  • Capability to ensure complete traceability, efficient operations, inventory management, and appropriate controls in cryo tank processes

Responsibilities

  • Ensure completion of production tasks for Cell Therapy products according to cGMPs, SOPs, and WIs across 4 QUAD shifts supporting 24/7 operations
  • Promote safe working practices, perform regular safety Gemba walks, identify hazards, and demonstrate safe equipment operation to prevent injuries
  • Oversee Production Records/Process Documentation, execute batch record reviews (BRR) or Electronic Batch Record reviews, ensuring adherence to ALCOA+ principles
  • Perform Cell Therapy production steps to maintain hands-on expertise, role model execution behaviors, and backfill resources as needed to meet schedules
  • Provide daily, weekly, and monthly updates to Production Scheduling on resource availability and task progression
  • Define team priorities, align with site/functional goals, monitor performance, measure completion of activities, and report metrics in Tier meetings and site control plans
