Responsibilities

  • Support the Vice President in developing the international business components of GM Defense’s Long-Term Plan and Annual Operating Plan (AOP)
  • Meet or exceed AOP and long-range goals related to international business development
  • Lead cross-functional capture and proposal teams including operations, legal, contracting, product development, finance, and GM LLC technical experts
  • Execute capture activities including opportunity identification, customer shaping, technical demonstrations, Gate briefings, export licensing, and compliance with ITAR, FMS, FMF, and DCS regulations
  • Develop and sustain strong relationships with UK and European government customers, industry partners, and relevant US DoD entities
  • Coordinate meetings to gather market intelligence on requirements, acquisition strategies, and contract vehicles
  • Support GM Defense’s engagement with UK and European defense procurement processes
  • Shape solutions to customer capability gaps in alignment with GM Defense product strategies
  • Maintain customer contact plans and technology roadmaps relevant to government stakeholders
  • Assist in setting and managing International Government Solutions & Strategy priorities
  • Ensure compliance with GM Company and GM Defense values, policies, and processes
  • Document and share best practices across the organization
  • Actively participate in capture/proposal activities including Pursuit Decisions, Bid/No Bid gates, and Formal Pursuit Management Reviews
