Requirements

  • 10+ years in financial planning or commercial finance roles
  • Strong communication and influencing skills in both Japanese and English
  • Experience in providing holistic understanding of Japan commercial performance
  • Experience in leading end-to-end business planning and cross-functional coordination
  • Analytical and strategic thinking in bottler collaboration
  • Build alignment and drive financial outcomes through effective internal and external communication
  • Engage with Franchise Finance leadership, Operating Unit (Japan & Korea) teams, and key regional stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Act as finance business partner to Channel teams (e.g., Online, Eating & Drinking), providing performance updates, actionable insights, and influencing business decisions
  • Lead channel performance discussions in Monthly RE (Rolling Estimate) meeting and identify opportunities to improve topline and profitability. Work for Enhancement plan to drive the business by reallocating budget if necessary
  • Collaborate with Japan Franchise team and Operating Unit Finance Leadership to support strategic initiatives within the KO System
  • Support ABP (Annual Business Plan) and RE processes to align with marketing initiatives and strategic goals
  • Track bottler financials with a focus on topline and DMI (Direct Marketing Investment)
  • Collect and analyze quantitative and qualitative bottler data for financial decisions
  • Drive business model optimization and system topline growth
  • Implement margin discipline and develop strategies across the value chain
  • Enhance the New Economic Model in collaboration with bottlers and align with System P&L strategies
  • Maintain strong relationships with five bottlers in Japan at the local level
  • Support internal stakeholders in ongoing negotiations
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including Franchise, Commercial, Marketing, and regional stakeholders
