Senior Employee Communications Manager

Position Overview

Life360 is seeking a Senior Employee Communications Manager to drive creative and informative communication strategies that connect and engage employees. This leader will be responsible for discovering and telling company-wide stories that align our team with our long-term goals. The role is part of the Marketing team and reports to the VP of Communications.

Salary and Benefits

  • Salary Range: $137,000 - $201,500 (US-based)
  • Note: Base pay offered may vary considerably depending on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
  • Compensation Package: Includes a wide range of medical, dental, vision, financial, and other benefits, as well as equity.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead monthly company All Hands meetings.
  • Create an editorial calendar to ensure consistent communication with employees.
  • Produce Quarterly AMAs to increase two-way communication among directors+.
  • Craft internal communications plans for company milestones, product launches, times of change, transition, or crisis, ensuring plans are clear, timely, and comprehensive.
  • Partner with the People team to create communications strategies and plans for program launches.
  • Develop engaging presentations for big internal events.
  • Engage with the executive team to create communication strategies and plans for their organizations.
  • Leverage internal communications tactics to foster community and drive engagement.
  • Optimize channels to best reach employees.
  • Positively enhance our employer brand reputation.
  • Develop internal communications strategies, messaging, and materials for executives, including remarks and written correspondence to employees.
  • Track and analyze key internal communications data and metrics to inform and improve internal communications strategies.
  • Seek opportunities to tell employee/team wins or culture-defining stories.
  • Drive company-wide alignment on large initiatives or company goals through communication strategies and plans.

Requirements

  • Six or more years of experience in communications, journalism, writing, or PR.
  • Skilled storyteller who applies art (creative) and science (data) to campaigns/programs.
  • Previous experience building and/or rolling out an intranet.
  • Curious and eager to learn about our members, business, and technology.
  • Quick and nimble to implement change.
  • Possess a strong ability to influence and collaborate across all levels and teams.
