Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or closely related field (will accept suitable combinations of education, experience, and training)
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Digital Brand Marketing, Communications, or Social with a deep understanding of the soccer ecosystem
  • Demonstrated genuine passion and deep understanding of soccer, culture, fashion, trends, and growing the sport across underserved communities
  • Extensive knowledge of the Nike Soccer product and athlete portfolio
  • Experience leading and managing diverse teams, with a team-first mentality and ability to influence decision makers
  • Digital first approach with strong initiative and curiosity to cultivate innovation
  • External facing experience with league and retail partners
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to balance creativity with organization and discipline in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment
  • Consumer obsessed marketer, solution-oriented strategic leader, team-first collaborator, energy-giving partner, and brand innovator with openness to learn

Responsibilities

  • Lead the digital marketing strategy to transform Nike’s Soccer brand into the most sophisticated, athlete-focused digital brand in North America
  • Support both brand and business objectives by connecting athletes with innovative experiences and compelling stories
  • Collaborate closely with Nike Soccer, Nike Global Football Brand partners, Creatives, Global Teams, and key internal/external stakeholders (Brand Management, Digital Marketing Experiences, Digital Commerce, Brand Creative, Integrated Media, Energy Marketing, Product & Merchandising, Retail Marketing, Finance & Procurement, Agency & Production partners)
  • Build integrated marketing plans and robust concept maps across cities, other geos, and global teams
  • Drive new consumer experiences that accelerate soccer brand and business growth opportunities
  • Work as part of the integrated marketing team to bring best-in-class brand and commerce experiences to life, supporting an integrated Consumer Marketplace approach
  • Push the boundaries of the digital landscape to ensure consumer engagement both on and off Nike’s platforms
