Requirements

  • 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
  • Preferred: 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in global brand strategy, brand marketing, or related field - financial services or technology experience strongly preferred
  • Proven track record in consumer product marketing and consumer product technology marketing
  • Strong analytical skills and experience leveraging data to inform strategy and storytelling
  • Experience in managing cross-functional teams and global initiatives
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with ability to influence at all levels
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adept at managing multiple competing priorities

Responsibilities

  • Brand Claims Center of Excellence (COE): Maintain and enhance a centralized global repository of brand claims spanning initiatives, audiences, and regions. Lead the development and refinement of claims and manage the risk assessment process for all brand claims, ensuring adherence to legal, regulatory, and corporate guidelines
  • Claims Development & Delivery: Develop and launch new, differentiated claims for strategic focus areas, including Affluent, Non-Card, Innovation Products, and B2B Solutions. Partner cross-functionally with Legal, Product, Regional, and Creative teams to ensure claims are substantiated, relevant, and globally scalable
  • Audience Testing & Insights: Collaborate with Insights & Analytics teams to test brand claims' ability to lift relevance, preference, and motivation to choose Visa. Leverage insights to refine messaging and inform go-to-market strategies
  • Client & Investor Brand Strength: Develop a new approach to demonstrate Visa’s brand strength for clients and investors, utilizing BERA and other independent data sources. Articulate Visa’s macro brand narrative and highlight value levers across the cardholder lifecycle. Create compelling, data-driven storytelling for RFPs, renewals, and sales enablement materials
