Candidates should possess 5+ years of experience in Machine learning with Devops, 5+ years of hands-on experience developing Python and PySpark, and experience with Spark is preferred. They should have a strong foundation in statistics, utilize statistical methods to analyze data, and familiarity with Azure Databricks or similar. Proficiency with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch or Keras, Python and basic libraries for machine learning such as scikit-learn and pandas, and expertise in visualizing and manipulating big datasets are required. Furthermore, candidates must have 5+ years of experience selecting hardware to run an ML model with the required latency, familiarity with Azure services, and proven experience with CI/CD and version control (Github, Bitbucket).
The Senior Machine Learning Engineer will be involved with various data engineering aspects – data collection, cleaning, and preprocessing, to training models and deploying them to production. They will analyze ML algorithms to solve problems, rank them by success probability, explore and visualize data to gain insights, verify data quality, define validation strategies, and define preprocessing or feature engineering. The role involves training models, tuning hyperparameters, analyzing model errors, designing strategies to overcome them, deploying models to production, and working independently and collaboratively on a multi-disciplined project team in an Agile development environment. They will also provide feedback to development teams on code/architecture optimization and be actively involved in the design, development and testing activities for Big data products.
