  • Expertise in providing guidance on HR matters including termination, resignation, transfer procedures, employment contracts, and redundancy processes, ensuring legal compliance and best practices
  • Skills to lead and facilitate meetings with clients and external employees, such as workforce reduction consultations, administrative hearings, negotiations in separations and settlements, and delivering termination outcomes
  • Ability to influence and negotiate positive outcomes in complex terminations, navigating multiple stakeholders with competing interests
  • Experience liaising with and coordinating internal and external stakeholders (e.g., payroll, legal counsel, government bodies, trade unions) for compliance in offboarding and audits
  • Proficiency in drafting, tailoring, and administering termination and supplementary documents with accuracy, adhering to privacy and confidentiality regulations
  • Capability to process offboarding on Remote's internal HRIS platform, collaborating with internal stakeholders like Customer Success and Legal
  • Ability to provide first-level Employee Relations support, guiding clients through workplace concerns and coordinating resources
  • Drive process improvements and initiatives aligned with Remote's strategic goals and values

Responsibilities

  • Manage and resolve complex end-to-end employee exits with minimal supervision across multiple international jurisdictions, prioritizing a superior offboarding experience for clients and employees
  • Provide sound and trusted guidance on key jurisdictions and manage clients' requests on HR matters including termination, resignation, transfer procedures, employment contracts, and redundancy processes, ensuring legal compliance and best practices
  • Independently lead and facilitate meetings with clients and external employees, including workforce reduction consultation meetings, administrative hearings, negotiations in separations and settlements, providing guidance on terminations, and delivering termination outcomes
  • Influence and negotiate positive outcomes in complex terminations, navigating and directing multiple stakeholders with competing interests through complicated processes
  • Liaise with and coordinate various internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance in offboarding activities and audits, including payroll, legal counsel, government bodies, and trade unions
