Job Description: DevOps Engineer

Position Overview

We are a team focused on designing, developing, maintaining, and improving software for various ventures projects – projects adjacent to our core businesses and developed with a lean team. You will be actively involved in the design of various components behind scalable applications, from frontend UI to backend infrastructure.

Requirements

• Experience: 5+ years in DevOps
• AWS Expertise: Solid experience in AWS is a must.
• Terraform & Kubernetes: Experience with Terraform and Kubernetes.
• CICD Pipelines: Experience in building CICD pipelines for a large-scale enterprise application and maintaining mission-critical systems.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Experience in automating and streamlining operations and processes using IaC.
• Tools Proficiency:
  • Terraform
  • Kubernetes (YAML/Karpenter)
  • AWS (EC2, RDS PostgreSQL, Redis, ECS, S3, CloudFront, Cloudflare)
  • MSK
  • Datadog
  • Sumologic
  • GitHub Actions
  • ArgoCD
• Operating Systems: Linux experience
• Networking: VPC and Network Security knowledge
• Coding Skills: Ability to write maintainable code.
• Technological Agility: Embrace modern AI tools.
• Interest: Strong interest in working in technology or financial environments.
• Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ownership & Responsibility: Proactive, responsible, high accuracy, and ownership of resources are a must.

Responsibilities

• Develop tools for application and performance monitoring.
• Contribute to system architecture design.
• Develop and deploy cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Improve and manage Terraform, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Design and implement Disaster Recovery & backup solutions.
• Automate and streamline operations and processes.
• Communicate, escalate, and follow up as appropriate to ensure that problems are solved.
