Requirements

Candidates should have at least 3-5 years of experience in an IT, systems, or infrastructure-focused role, such as System Administrator, IT Engineer, or Business Systems Analyst. They must be comfortable managing SaaS systems like Atlassian Suite, Netsuite, Google Workspace, Kandji, and Slack, and possess hands-on experience with integration platforms like Celigo, Workato, or Zapier. Familiarity with SAML/SSO concepts, Okta, Vanta, and light scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) is also required. A background with Google Workspace, Slack, Kandji, Atlassian, Jira Service Management, Jira Assets, Celigo, or another integration platform is essential, as is experience with compliance platforms like Vanta.

Responsibilities

The Senior IT Systems Engineer will maintain and configure core SaaS systems and internal tools, ensuring stability, security, and scalability. They will also maintain accurate records of employees, devices, vendors, and applications using Jira Assets, ensuring data synchronization with authoritative sources. Furthermore, they will operate and improve data flows and business logic using Celigo, supporting compliance efforts such as SOC 2 by configuring tools like Vanta and building alerts and reports to monitor critical workflows. Finally, they will partner with business stakeholders to translate real-world processes into structured, repeatable workflows and provide engineering leadership to support and systems staff.
