Position Overview

This role supports Thermo Fisher's integration of Tracelink (Track and Trace Solution) and downstream partners to ensure compliance with Serialization and Track and Trace requirements. It involves detailing technical solutions, developing relationships with Business Projects, and identifying unmet IT needs and project requests. The position also focuses on implementing business-critical systems in packaging, distribution, and commercial business areas.

Responsibilities

  • Support Thermo Fisher's integration of Tracelink and downstream partners for Serialization and Track and Trace compliance.
  • Detail technical solutions, including developing relationships with Business Projects and surfacing unmet IT needs.
  • Collaborate with internal customers, Brand Owner/Client, third-party vendors, and cross-functional analysts to define business needs and implement business-critical systems.
  • Capture business requirements and document custom configuration needs.
  • Review, analyze, and modify systems based on business needs for the PSG Manufacturing Pharma 4.0 IT program.
  • Manage multiple business-critical GMP system analyst activities in a global network.
  • Oversee technical installation of Manufacturing Operational Technology (OT) hardware and software solutions supporting GxP compliant systems, including MES, CMMS, Advanced Analytic Systems, and Serialization Systems.
  • Gather, analyze, and document functional and technical requirements for effective solutions delivery.
  • Interface directly with the Thermo Fisher Corporate Pharma 4.0 IT group to provide GMP compliant system solutions.
  • Develop and maintain standards for GMP Manufacturing systems in alignment with GMP quality policies and procedures.
  • Determine and document processes, work instructions, and SOPs impacted by business needs.
  • Author and execute Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ), and Performance Qualification (PQ) protocols.
  • Develop Test Scripts, Test Cases, and Test Plans for Functional Unit Testing, Integration Testing, and User Acceptance Testing for the Pharma Validation process.

Requirements

  • Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum Experience: 5 years of experience as a Systems Analyst or related role.
