Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with a minimum of 7 years of experience in IT systems engineering, demonstrating expertise in cloud infrastructure, identity management, and endpoint device management. Strong scripting skills, particularly in Python and Bash, are essential, as is experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Kubernetes, or Ansible. Familiarity with AI/ML models and APIs is also required, alongside experience integrating them into internal systems.

Responsibilities

The Senior IT Systems Engineer will design and maintain core IT infrastructure in a public cloud environment (AWS, GCP), focusing on security, reliability, and scalability; lead the development of internal tools and integrations using Python and Bash to automate routine operations and optimize IT support; drive identity lifecycle automation and secure authentication using platforms like Okta; deploy and manage endpoint device management policies and MDM systems; support the ongoing administration of SaaS platforms such as GSuite, Jira, Slack, and Confluence; onboard and operationalize new technologies to solve business challenges; and partner with security teams to ensure systems are secure and compliant, while also designing and implementing AI-enhanced workflows, bots, and internal apps.
