Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in Linux systems engineering or a similar role
  • Proven experience with server virtualization, storage systems, and network infrastructure
  • Expert skills in managing and maintaining Linux systems (RHEL and Ubuntu LTS)
  • Expert skills in automation using scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash)
  • Strong written and verbal communication in English
  • Advanced Configuration Management using Ansible and Terraform to enforce standards
  • Experience with the creation and deployment of system images in an enterprise environment
  • Certification as Red Hat Certified System Administrator or CompTIA Linux+
  • Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator (AZ-800, AZ-801), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), or VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
  • Strong knowledge of Windows server operating systems, architecture, and domain administration (DNS, DHCP, NPS and CA)
  • Previous experience in a regulated SOX environment

Responsibilities

  • Monitoring and maintaining our growing AWS and Linux production and development environments
  • Organize and execute our modern infrastructure strategy, solve difficult problems, help build technical acumen and knowledge transfer across the team, and ensure our infrastructure operations are secure, predictable, and scalable
  • Design, deploy, and manage servers, storage solutions, and network infrastructure
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability
  • Ensure data integrity and availability through regular testing
  • Actively mentor less experienced engineers and provide thoughtful, constructive feedback
  • Solve complex puzzles and provide excellent customer service
  • Execute project tasks that drive our growth strategy
  • Advocate for best practices in maintaining system security and providing great customer service
  • Embody our culture and values, including fostering an inclusive team culture
