Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Minimum of 7 years of experience in Linux systems engineering or a similar role
Proven experience with server virtualization, storage systems, and network infrastructure
Expert skills in managing and maintaining Linux systems (RHEL and Ubuntu LTS)
Expert skills in automation using scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash)
Strong written and verbal communication in English
Advanced Configuration Management using Ansible and Terraform to enforce standards
Experience with the creation and deployment of system images in an enterprise environment
Certification as Red Hat Certified System Administrator or CompTIA Linux+
Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator (AZ-800, AZ-801), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), or VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
Strong knowledge of Windows server operating systems, architecture, and domain administration (DNS, DHCP, NPS and CA)
Previous experience in a regulated SOX environment

Responsibilities

Monitoring and maintaining our growing AWS and Linux production and development environments
Organize and execute our modern infrastructure strategy, solve difficult problems, help build technical acumen and knowledge transfer across the team, and ensure our infrastructure operations are secure, predictable, and scalable
Design, deploy, and manage servers, storage solutions, and network infrastructure
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability
Ensure data integrity and availability through regular testing
Actively mentor less experienced engineers and provide thoughtful, constructive feedback
Solve complex puzzles and provide excellent customer service
Execute project tasks that drive our growth strategy
Advocate for best practices in maintaining system security and providing great customer service
Embody our culture and values, including fostering an inclusive team culture
