Candidates must possess strong C/C++ coding skills and demonstrable experience in developing product code on Linux or Unix. This includes experience with high concurrency, multi-threading, high reliability, and low-level operating characteristics such as memory usage and performance. Experience working collaboratively on a team to ship major features and releases is also required, along with effective communication and collaboration skills for distributed teams.
The Senior Software Development Engineer II will design and develop Linux software for server deployment, owning features from initial design through to delivery. Responsibilities include collaborating with multi-functional teams across different locations and responsively troubleshooting product issues reported by customers. Additional projects as assigned are also part of the role.
