Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field
  • Experience with benefits and/or implementation processes and methodologies
  • 3+ years of project management experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with internal, external, technical, and non-technical team members
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and brokers
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively across teams
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, data summaries) and familiarity with other MS Office products
  • High level of productivity, reliability, responsibility, organization, and accuracy
  • Ability to take initiative and approach challenges with creativity, resourcefulness, and a commitment to quality

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate key implementation meetings, including kickoff, status meetings, and workstream-specific sessions
  • Execute reporting and governance processes for internal updates, contractual metrics, and service level agreements
  • Manage timelines to ensure efficient internal operations while keeping executive leadership updated on project execution and governance
  • Own project plans and governance for assigned clients throughout the implementation lifecycle
  • Manage client expectations by proactively identifying and mitigating project risks, escalating when appropriate, and communicating realistic turnaround times and delivery dates
  • Effectively communicate with all critical project stakeholders to keep them informed on status, risks, and key milestones
  • Ensure key deliverables are completed on time by coordinating across internal teams and supporting cross-functional collaboration
  • Proactively identify and mitigate project and staffing risks
  • Escalate risks appropriately to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction
