Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire recruitment cycle in Shanghai, collaborating with Recruiter, Asia; devise and implement effective recruitment strategies to hire high-quality talent; work with Shanghai leaders and Asia HR teams to understand staffing needs and deliver successful outcomes
  • Participate in developing onboarding materials; partner with recruiter and hiring managers to manage onboarding and new hire process, ensuring representation of Brooks culture and positive employee experience; conduct HR onboarding sessions for new hires in Shanghai, covering HR operations, compensation & benefits, and other relevant information
  • Coordinate off-boarding with related teams to ensure smooth process and positive experience for existing employees
  • Provide guidance and recommendations on local immigration and relocation regulations to US HR and leaders; ensure proper work permits and resident visas for global assignees or non-local hires; act as main point of contact for expatriate relocations in compliance with local regulations
  • Lead design and implementation of new initiatives, policies, or handbooks in Shanghai entity; regularly review and update; own communication of updates or new HR policies and procedures to Shanghai employees
  • Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and ensure regulatory compliance for employee management in relevant countries
  • Proactively maintain open communication with managers and employees on HR service-related matters
  • Conduct regular 1-on-1 meetings with leaders to review talent, advise on performance management, career development, and organizational design
  • Provide strategic HR advice to Asia leaders on employee relations, performance management, conflict resolution, staff retention, and policy development
