Bachelor's Degree required, preference for degree in Industrial Relations, Labor Relations, Human Resources, or related field in Business Administration
SHRM or HRCI certified professional preferred
8+ years of Human Resources or related experience
Knowledge of federal and state employment laws, with ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, and policies
Excellent communication and organizational skills; detail oriented
Proficient in MS Office Suite; intermediate experience in Excel strongly preferred, with demonstrated ability in VLookup and Pivot Tables
Ability to learn new databases and applications
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
Physical abilities: frequently sit, stand, walk, use hands, reach, talk/hear; occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch; lift up to 5-15 pounds; specific vision abilities; significant digital dexterity
Responsibilities
Build strong relationships with leaders and managers in assigned business units to understand objectives, challenges, and talent needs
Offer consultative guidance on performance management, talent management, leadership development, organizational alignment, culture, and employee engagement
Drive leadership development, employee coaching, and performance management initiatives
Take proactive ownership of the strategic people agenda at the functional level, aligning with overall People Strategy
Provide support for HR projects and initiatives, including policy development, HR system upgrades, and process improvements
Compile and analyze HR data to create reports and dashboards, providing insights and recommendations
Assist with HR compliance activities, such as data reporting, auditing, and maintaining records per legal requirements
Stay updated on HR best practices, industry trends, regulatory changes, and new technologies to improve HR processes
Ensure adherence to HR policies and procedures, conduct audits, and provide guidance to maintain compliance
Promote a positive company image and perform other duties as assigned
