Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States, with potential requirements for U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a federal background investigation or security clearance. A Bachelor's degree is required. Strong experience with modern JavaScript frameworks like React, proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and TypeScript, and familiarity with state management tools such as Redux are essential. Experience consuming APIs, diagnosing and resolving production issues, and working in Agile environments are also necessary. Familiarity with the VA Design System, USWDS, or government design standards is a plus.
The Senior Frontend Engineer will design and build user-facing applications to improve access to services for Veterans and their families.
