Candidates must have a proven track record of delivering medium to large-scale FP&A software implementations with business-critical impact and previous experience working for an FP&A consultancy vendor. A deep knowledge of Financial Planning and Analysis principles and tools, familiarity with formal project delivery methodologies, strong business analysis capabilities, and commercial awareness are required. Influential leadership, stakeholder management skills, and a positive, proactive mindset are also essential. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field is necessary.
The Senior FP&A Consultant will act as the FP&A Lead in delivery projects, ensuring alignment with customer objectives and collaborating on sales handovers. They will design scalable and cost-effective customer solutions, act as a trusted advisor, and support project governance including design, timelines, budgets, risks, and change management. Responsibilities include providing quality assurance across multiple FP&A implementations, coaching colleagues, and ensuring seamless integration of financial and operational data. The role involves enabling predictive analytics and scenario modeling, implementing agile planning processes, helping customers establish KPIs, and supporting cross-functional planning. Post-implementation, the consultant will collaborate with Project Managers and Customer Success teams, support ongoing customer success efforts, and conduct solution reviews. Additionally, they will stay current on FP&A best practices, contribute to product enhancements, and represent Unit4 at industry events.
